Altier & Vogt LLC
It was 50 years ago that a young attorney, Joseph P. Altier, fresh from four years as an Assistant United States Attorney, joined the firm that is known today as Altier & Vogt LLC. Although the firm has gone through a few transformations, its main focus has always been to help those union workers during their time in need.
For the fine men and women who work to give the commuting public a safe means of travel, to the firefighters & police officers who put their lives on the line everyday protecting others, Altier & Vogt is there. Altier & Vogt is there to provide wisdom, experience, and a “roll up the sleeves” attitude necessary to right the wrongs inflicted upon our clients.

Twenty eight years experience as a personal injury attorney.
Managing Attorney of the firm since 1991.
Multiple million dollar verdicts involving all kinds of accidents including rail road workers, automobile, dangerous premises and products cases.
Has argued successfully before the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court, and also before the Federal Court for the Second Circuit.
Experienced in the practice of Wills, Trusts and Estates, and Real Estate.

Has won multiple trial verdicts in excess of a million dollars
Has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit
Is admitted to practice in New York, before the Southern & Eastern Districts Courts of the United States, and before the US Court of Appeals
